Currently, the most common molecular diagnosis is based on PCR(Polymerase Chain Reaction).
Most of the format of the PCR device is to perform 96 tests simultaneously.

For this reason, most PCR laboratories repeatedly perform 96-unit tests, and are operated
in a way that makes the most of the equipment's capabilities due to the economic reason
and others. In other words, the current molecular diagnosis is suitable for mass testing.

Until now,
massive number or PCR testing is being runcontinuously in many places, thanks to the restless operation of PCR laboratories, we can get the results within a day or afew days after sample collection.

However,
the fact remains that we still have to wait impatiently for more than a day to be notified of test results. Even in chase for massive test is not operated for a specific disease unlike COVID-19, the time it takes to get the result will inevitably be delayed. Recalling the time of swine flu(H1N1) outbreaks, there were some cases where the results were notified after death the patience. First

The most innovative feature of Ugenecell reagents
is room temperature storge and ready-to-use.

Ugenecell's PCR/RT-PCR kit is provided in a form that all reagent
elements for single test are lyophilized in the shape of
a single bead and already contained in individual
reaction tubes. There is no need to separately prepare
reagents for testing. All you need to do is dissolve the
beads in each tube with the lysing solution and
dispense the sample (extractedn ucleic acid) to be
tested. The cost and time required for the preparation
process for PCR test can be significantly reduced.

No need for the refrigerator: Unlike general PCR/RT-PCR kits that must be stored and delivered at -20℃, Ugenecell’s PCR/RT-PCR kit maintains excellent stability even at room temperature (2~30℃). Dependingontheregion, delivery and storage in a refrigerated condition is recommended to prevent exposure to unexpected high temperatures, but in general, Ugenecell freeze -drying kit maintains stability at room temperature for more than one year. Room temperature stability extends to several surprising conveniences.

Flexibility of test environment: Above all, there is noneed for a large -20℃ freezer in the test station and the lab. This will directly lead to a positive effect of reducing investment costs, but this is the only beginning of the benefits you can get.
Operation of temporary test station or test station of minimized equipment become available. One of the biggest burdens in operating a PCR l boratorytoday is the refrigeration facility, which takes up a large portion of space, electricity consumption, and some investment. Hence, If a PCR test can be operated without a refrigeration facility, great flexibility will be created in the installation and operation of the laboratory. You can run temporary PCR test station more easily, or can establish PCR station with limited budget, or can also enable the operation of mobile test stations.

Safer and immediate test is possible: For another advantage, a small number of tests can be performed with enhance safety. Normal PCR kits with liquid format are delivered and stored in below -20℃, and normally 1 kit is for 96 tests, suitable for mass testing. For test, the reagent must be dissolved and used, and the remaining (if there is any) must be re-frozen. The stability of reagents after repeated thawing and freezing is inevitably damaged, hence this method is not recommended in most environments and reagents. For this reason, test station or lab with large equipment do not run the test until 96 samples have been collected, whic hincurs additional waiting time. Therefore, Ugenecell PCR/RT-PCR kit can structurally eliminate the delay in results due to such waiting time.

PCR analyzer maximizes the performance of Ugenecell reagent kit. The size (2.8 kg) that can be held with two hands can be easily operated in a limited space. In addition, with fast-thermal cycling technology, 45 cycles of PCR reaction can be performed in about 30 minutes, providing faster results compared to conventional PCR devices. Since 8 tests can be performed simultaneously, it is suitable for a laboratory with a small number of samples.

High Quality in a short time: Automated preparation(extraction) devices for molecular
diagnosis are also normally bigger-sized and more
expensive than PCR devices, mostly optimized for large
amount of test with 96 test/cycle. In this reason, in case
of small amount of test, prep part is normally processed
by hands.
